President and CEO

President and CEO of Kuusakoski Recycling since 10 November 2025. Oversees Kuusakoski Recycling Group's operations globally. Previous roles include Managing Director at Lantmännen Agro, several leadership roles at SSAB, and strategy consultant at Boston Consulting Group.

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

In charge of Finance (treasury, controlling, accounting and reporting) and IT since 2018. Has previously held the positions of Finance Manager, YIT (2017-2018) and Business Controller, Kuusakoski (2014-2017). Joined Kuusakoski in 2010. Acting President and CEO 13 August - 9 November 2025.

Director, Business Development

Responsible for Kuusakoski Ferrous, Aluminium and Precious Metals Businesses. Joined Kuusakoski in 2001 and has since held various positions in the company.

Member of Board: Alteams Group Oy and Suomen Erityisjäte Oy.

Business Director, Non-Ferrous metals and Stainless steel

In charge of Non-Ferrous metals and Stainless steel business since 2018. Joined Kuusakoski in 1984 and has since held various positions in the company.

Chairman of the Board: Kuusakoski Ltd.

Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO)

In charge of Sustainability, QEHS, Public Affairs, Communications, Logistics and Indirect Procurement since November 2021. Previously held several Vice President positions at Outokumpu Oyj (Supply Chain Management, Strategy, Sustainability and Environment)

Vice Chairman of the Board: Finnish Environmental Industries (YTP).

CEO Kuusakoski Sverige AB

Responsible for Kuusakoski operations in Sweden since March 2021. Previously held the position of CEO at Energiservice Skellefteå AB and Secondary Raw Materials Manager at Boliden Commercial AB.

Chairman of the board: Skellefteå Ventures AB.

Sales Director, Kuusakoski Sverige AB

Kuusakoski's Sales Director since 2015. Joined Kuusakoski in 2009 and has since held various positions in the company. Previously held the positions at Atlas Copco AB and Boliden Commercial AB.
Board membership: Lovisagruvan AB (publ) and Svenska Järn.

CEO, AS Kuusakoski

Urmo has been responsible for Kuusakoski Estonia's operations since November 2020. He joined Kuusakoski in 1996 for a summer job and has since held various positions in the company and been in leadership roles in Estonia, Finland, and Sweden. He is a second-generation member of Kuusakoski.

Chief Information Officer (CIO)

In charge of Information Technology including Cyber Security and Data Privacy since October 2024. Previously held several Vice President and Management positions at Instru Optiikka Oy (IT, Supply Chain Management, Strategy), Posti Oy (VP, Parcel and eCommerce production and operations) and Siemens Oy (Information Technology Finland & Baltics, including Cyber Security and Data Privacy).
