15 tonnes of aluminium recovered in Finnair aircraft recycling project – savings in CO2 emissions equivalent to annual consumption of 55 private cars

The Finnair Airbus A319 recycling project has come to an end, and project personnel at both Finnair and Kuusakoski are happy with the results. The materials recovered from the aircraft were analysed over the summer at Kuusakoski’s accredited research centre. You may unknowingly encounter the aluminium recovered from the plane in future car models, as the automotive industry is one of the key areas of application for recycled aluminium.

Olov Boman has been appointed CEO of Kuusakoski Sverige AB effective 17th of March 2021.

Olov comes to Kuusakoski from Energiservice Skellefteå AB, where he has held the position of the CEO for the past five years. Prior to that, he has worked for over 15 years in various positions at Boliden, both in Sweden and abroad.

There are more and more fraudulent claims and communication to channel payments on criminals’ bank accounts. The fraudulent claims/scams advise that the bank details for the settlement of current or future invoices should be changed. These approaches may be made by email, over the telephone, by letter or fax. The content of the messages can look very convincing and real, even real personal and company information can be included, as well as real-looking fake email addresses.
