Kuusakoski joins the UN Global Compact Network Finland

Kuusakoski Oy has been accepted as a member of the UN Global Compact Network Finland. This membership is a natural continuation of the ambitious sustainability work.

Sustainability has been at the core of Kuusakoski for more than 100 years, and the company continues to play a key role in the circular economy by restoring value through recycled materials and recycling services. Kuusakoski’s operations have always been aligned with the United Nations Global Compact's ten principles, focusing on human rights, labour, the environment, and anti-corruption.

This membership is a natural continuation of the ambitious sustainability work.

Kuusakoski has joined the prestigious UN Global Compact Finland network. It is the largest global initiative promoting corporate responsibility in the world. It provides its members with a framework of responsibility that is recognised around the world. The UN Global Compact supports companies in their sustainability work through the ten principles of the Global Compact and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Founded in 2000, the UN Global Compact is active in more than 160 countries, involving more than 15,000 companies and over 3,000 other organisations.
