New Chief Sustainability Officer of Kuusakoski Recycling

Tuomas Haikka (MSc. Environmental Economics) has been appointed Chief Sustainability Officer of Kuusakoski.

In February 2022, Tuomas will take over corporate relations duties from retiring Risto Pohjanpalo, Director, Corporate Relations.

Tuomas has had a long career at Outokumpu, a global stainless steel manufacturer. He has worked among other things as Director of Environment and Sustainability, Strategy Director, and in Order Supply Chain Management positions at the European business unit and the Tornio Plant. Early in his career he worked in the Technology Industries in Finland and the Finnish Energy Authority.

"Tuomas brings with him a strong customer understanding as well as extensive experience and insight into the importance of sustainability and stakeholders in our business", Mikko Kuusilehto commented.
